Introducing eURL, a security service to protect users from unsafe external links

Today we are pleased to release a new security tool to enrich URL validations (we call it eURL for short). This tool was built to check reputable enrichment lists from the across the internet as well as a few sources that conduct real-time security checks. Combined together, these new security checks will produce a recommendation on whether a domain is safe. URLs that are considered high-risk will be filtered out in pre-validation before being placed in the validation queue.

To further improve this system, we have released a framework called ‘eURL enrichment’ enabling open community contributions of new enrichment lists. We welcome developers and security professionals to contribute to eurl-enrichment which can be found in our github here:
